How to help
There are a number of organizations and grassroot groups of individuals who are sending packages to our soldiers.
Grassroots volunteers
We are in touch with soldiers whose units are in Gaza and we are getting information on what they need. The needs change often, so please check back to see what the latest request is.
One way to send goods is to call a group of citizens who have taken off from work for a few weeks to help the troops. Purchase the items on the list and call them to arrnage a pick up. The group is in touch with various commanders who relay the soldiers requests.
Alternatively, if you live far away, consider sending a donation and the group will purchase the items that are needed at the time.
Donations are made by bank transfer directly to the accounts of the two businesses they buy from (located in Sderot and Ashdod). By sending us the proof of transfer to fax number 03-522 9258 (from outside of Israel: +972 3 522-9258) you help them keep track of how much was donated and according to that they buy the products. Twice a week a group goes to the border to distribute the products to the soldiers.

Table to Table
With Table to Table you can either drop off packages at various pickup points or use your credit card to enable the organization to purchase what is needed. They determine what the latest needs are and make purchases every 2-3 days and truck the goods down to the south. Each basket consists of thermal underwear, toiletries, and candy.

Care Packages for Soldiers
Your generous donation of $25 (100 shekels) will finance the price of a care package and its transport to the front lines. When making your donation, you can also attach a personal note for the soldier who will receive the care package (we'll include the note in the care package). To donate a care package by credit card, click here.
You can also donate food, products, and notes of encouragement for the care packages by dropping them off at one of Table to Table's collection points. For details on what specific products we're in need of, click here.
Table to Table will be sending trucks full of fruits, vegetables, food, and badly needed supplies to non-profit organizations serving Israel's Southern communities (Ashdod, Ashkelon, Beersheva, Ofakim, Nitzan, Kiryat Malachi, and Sderot). We are also setting up collection points throughout Israel where you can drop off dried food and toys, which we will transport to Israel's South.
We're also serving hundreds of meals and sandwiches everyday to schoolchildren who have been evacuated from their homes in the South.
In addition, thanks to generous donations, Table to Table is purchasing food and supplies in the Southern communities themselves, and delivering that food to our local partner organizations. We're also delivering notes of encouragement for residents of Israel's South.

Continue straight until the end of the street, where the road bends left to Dolev st. Continue straight on Dolev st. Agudah Le'maan HaChayal
Aguda Lemaan Hachayal - the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers, is probably the most widely known organization in Israel, capturing the best of Israel and all that went into the making of the modern Jewish state: patriotism, commitment and a strong community spirit.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) provide for the soldier's military needs. We provide soldiers with the loving care and support they need through a range of recreation, welfare and educational services and facilities designed to enhance their wellbeing in service.
This support communicates to Israel's heroic defenders an important message of solidarity, and affirms a fundamental Jewish value that is at the core of our strength as a nation.
Knowing that they are not alone and that the whole Jewish people and many good friends of Israel stand united with them greatly strengthens our soldiers.
Backing our soldiers will enable us to enhance them with the wellbeing support vital to those who give their all in Israel's defense.

Friends of the IDF
Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) is the American partner of the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers. FIDF helps support social, educational and recreational programs and facilities for the young men and women soldiers of Israel who defend the Jewish homeland. We also provide these services to the families of soldiers who have fallen in defense of Israel. FIDF is a tax-deductible organization by US law.
FIDF offers its support to soldiers and their families through a variety of unique and innovative programs. Providing financial aid to soldiers in need, granting academic scholarships to former combat soldiers, helping bereaved families, and sponsoring fun days for combat battalions are just some of our endeavors. Thanks to a low overhead, we ensure the needs of the soldiers are provided in the best possible way. Through FIDF missions to Israel, donors are able to visit bases, meet with soldiers, and tour the country. These opportunities reinforce the significant bond between the Jewish community in the United States, the soldiers of the IDF, and the State of Israel.
