Righteous Gentile Takes his Message to the Air

Earl Cox’s extensive resume in the political arena in Washington, DC marked him as an ideal candidate to serve as a U.S. Ambassador . This was his heart's desire until 2002, when he had a life-changing experience.

Mr. Cox, who served in senior level positions with four US Presidents, returned from a jog to his beautiful island home in South Carolina knowing God asked him to stand with the Jewish people and the state of Israel. “From that moment,” the 66 year old explains, “I dedicated my life as a Christian to do everything in my power to stand with the Jewish people. It’s the right thing to do. God says those who bless Israel will be blessed and Israel needs friends in these perilous times.” And Cox has done just that.

He began by giving sizeable amounts of money for Israeli terror victims and erecting billboards in Israel proclaiming Christian support for the Jews. Timed to coincide with the first billboards, Cox began producing and airing pro-Israel Christian support messages on Israel TV's channel 2. Both of these efforts formed the foundation for a fast-growing pro-Israeli radio program -- Front Page Jerusalem -- now airing coast to coast in the US and in 155 countries. Alongside the radio program he instituted pro-Israeli education and awareness efforts in the halls of Congress, the US Senate, and several state legislatures by organizing buses full of evangelical Christians.

Cox marshaled his personal finances to pay for everything he has done thus far including his recent move to Jerusalem and his radio program expenses. His self-financed ventures on behalf of the state of Israel reached the halls of the Israeli government where he easily gains access to leaders for his radio interviews. His undisguised commitment to the Jewish people has also reached the ears of some of Israel’s most prominent Rabbis. Cox’s trustworthy reputation prompted the world-renown Seret Vishnitz ultra-Orthodox community in Haifa to stage day-long festivities in his honor, calling him a “righteous gentile.”

On January 9, 2005 Cox launched another ambitious project in support of Israel called the Wall Warrior Prayer Program. It is the centerpiece of Front Page Jerusalem’s sister organization, the American Christian Reserve (ACR). On the launch date, fifty-five Christians from North America joined him on a tour to inaugurate a year-long silent prayer vigil in Jerusalem at the Western Wall. Their goal is to bless Israel by maintaining a silent yet tangible prayer presence at Judaism’s holiest site for 56 hours each week all through 2005. This historic undertaking, with Gentiles praying eight hours daily at the Wall, is already receiving attention from the Israeli press and the general public. Christians traveling to Israel this year are invited to sign up for a prayer shift.

In March 2005, Ben Kinchlow, popular Christian broadcaster formerly with The 700 Club, joined Cox as Co-Host of Front Page Jerusalem. The program expanded to an hour-long format comprised of two stand-alone 30 minute segments and is broadcast from Jerusalem and Virginia Beach, Virginia studios.

FrontPage Jerusalem Radio is available coast-to-coast across the USA on the Salem Radio Network and on many other Christian stations around the world.
